Our client is looking to recruit an in-house lawyer with good understanding of contract law.

You will provide legal support to the Legal Function Manager, review and draft commercial contracts, risk assessments of contracts, draft legal letters and provide general support to the Legal Manager.

Your main responsibilities will be to look after contract law and drafting & corporate law. Contract law will incorporate reviewing request for proposals, reviewing contracts, identifying and advising on the legal and commercial risks and liabilities, and assisting the Company in the preparation of business proposals. Preparing standard commercial support contracts: Non-disclosure agreements, consultancy agreements, etc.). Contract drafting; and from time to time contract negotiation. Management of claims (e.g. debt recovery, supplier defect issues, etc. - meditation and management of arbitration cases). From the corporate law side you will cover tax law, review and advising on corporate documents relating to the Company, i.e. insurance policies, Inter-company agreements.

Profil recherché

You will have a University Degree in Law from a Commonwealth or Common law jurisdiction.
- Contract/Commercial/Corporate lawyer.
- Experience: min 5 years PQE in:
a) an international law firm; or
b) as an in-house lawyer of a multi-national company; or
c) as an in-house lawyer in a logistics company or engineering company.
